Daily Uniform

Grey trousers, grey pinafore dresses/skirts or blue gingham dresses are available from supermarkets and other local shops, while badged white polos, royal blue cardigans and jumpers can be purchased from 'Tees R Us' at New Hedges. Coats complete with the school logo are also available from these suppliers at a very reasonable cost, though you can purchase a warm, waterproof coat from other shops or suppliers. We would be grateful if you could also purchase a home-school bag from Tees R Us, so that reading books can be kept in good condition as they go back and forth between home and school. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ALWAYS HAVE A STOCK OF GOOD QUALITY, PRE-LOVED UNIFORM AVAILABLE TO ALL PARENTS AT SCHOOL. JUST ASK AT OUR RECEPTION. WE ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO TAKE ADVANTAGE, TO SAVE THE PLANET AND YOUR BANK BALANCES! DON'T FORGET TO DONATE YOUR CHILD'S UNIFORM ONCE IT'S BEEN OUTGROWN, PROVIDED IT'S IN GOOD, CLEAN CONDITION.

PE Uniform

Every child new to our school will be assigned to one of four school ‘houses’. Once you are told of your child’s house, we would also be grateful if you could buy a coloured house t-shirt, again complete with the school logo, to be used during all PE lessons. Black or navy blue shorts, jogging bottoms or cycle shorts are to be worn with the t-shirts for PE, along with a sturdy pair of trainers.

The governing body would very much like to encourage the children to wear black school shoes every day, rather than colourful trainers that can detract from the otherwise smart impression created by their uniform.

JEWELLERY, TRANSFER TATTOOS AND HAIRSTYLES

Finally, the only jewellery permitted will be stud earrings, which will need to be removed/ taped over for PE lessons. This is for reasons of safety. Rings and necklaces should not be worn to school. We would also be extremely grateful if the children did not come to school wearing transfer tattoos, and if you considered carefully any new hairstyle to ensure it supports the overall smart appearance of the children at school.
