Homework
Homework will be issued on a Monday and expected back on the Friday of that week.
Each week, could pupils please complete the following activities in addition to any homework that is sent home -
1. Read as many evenings as possible - even if it is for just 5/10 minutes per evening. Please ensure reading records are signed
2. Log-on to TimesTable Rockstars and RMMaths - complete a minimum of 20 minutes on each website, each week
3. Learn the list of spellings - these will be sent home on a Monday - please can pupils try to learn them by a Friday ready for an informal assessment on these particular words (from January 2020)
W/C 2nd March 2020
1. English - Spellings. List one: achieve, belief, believe, brief, review, mischief, shriek, thief, relief, piece, friend, fiery. List two: aggressive, hostile, awkward, obstinate, desperate, frantic, disastrous, decency, spectacular, existence, observant, expectant.
2. Maths - use your Hwb username to access Microsoft Teams. Look at the assignments section. You will see an assignment called, 'Where is the maths in that?'. Complete and 'turn in' using Teams.

1. English - Spellings - learn the new spellings for this week and use each word in a sentence to show you understand the definition of the word. Remember to choose the correct levelled spellings.
2. Maths - One Star (*) challenge or Two Star challenge (**) - please choose one to complete. Show all workings in your homework book.

3. Visit the Newsround website - choose two events that are of interest to you. Write about each event in no more than 250 words (this is tricky!)
